It took a long time

I finally created a blog. Seems as though I need to have a blog to be able to post scrapbook layouts to be able to participate in all sorts of challenges that are out there....so here I've done it.

I used to tell my friends and family that I don't do crafts. That side of my brain doesn't work like a lot of other peoples. Then my very creative sister, Denise and my creative niece Julia got together and had a little scrapping party. They laughed at the photos, told stories about them and there I sat, becoming more jealous of what they were doing and the fun they were having. All of a sudden a light bulb came on. I have tons of old photos inherited from my parents. I can do the same thing they're doing. I went online (thank the Lord for the internet) and researched and studies scrapbook layout upon layout. Now my first trip to Michael's. It was the closest store that sold what I needed. I later found every scrapbook store in the area.

Now this has become an obsession, an expensive habit and most of all I actually found out I did have a creative side.

I will begin posting some of my creations over the next couple of days. I hope you enjoy seeing them because I enjoy creating them.
